HOW DO I BECOME A MEMBER?
This is an easy two-step process!
STEP 1
On MOBILE or DESKTOP: Visit www.mlcconnect.app
Choose a PLAN
Make sure you meet the Membership Qualify Assessment (if you do not qualify, you will be subject to a partial refund)
Enter your full name, email and create your login CREDENTIALS
Enter your payment information, then click CREATE ACCOUNT
You have officially created your account, now proceed to STEP 2
STEP 2
On MOBILE ONLY: Visit your app store, search and download “Mighty Networks”
Open the app, select FIND and search “MLC Connect”
Sign in with your CREDENTIALS
You are all setup and ready to go!
AM I A CREATIVE?
At heart, we all are creative! But in regard to Membership Qualification, we define a “pro sports creative” as someone who is working on the “visual arts” day-in and day-out, using a specific creative discipline to make content, and their job title should clearly define this for our Member Verification process. Here are roles that will likely qualify for the Community Membership:
Creative Services Intern
Graphic Designer (any level)
Video Editor (any level)
Photographer (any level)
Motion Editor (any level)
Copy Writer (any level)
Social Media Manager (any level)
Manager of Creative Services (any level)
Creative Director (any level)
VP of Creative
Chief Creative Officer
MLC defines a “pro sports creative” as a full-time professional who has and uses advanced knowledge of professional software (like Adobe Creative Cloud), on a daily basis. Someone who is actually designing, taking photos, shooting and editing video, writing copy and posting on social media, as a key role of their core job responsibility. That being said, we understand the vital importance of working on a marketing and communications team to create consumable content for the success of the brand but this community is specifically built to develop and connect the makers of sport, who historically have no official network or annual league gathering to stay connected across the industry.. Here are some roles that may not qualify for a Community Membership:

HOW MUCH IS A MEMBERSHIP?
$600 US dollars, paid annually through your department budget under Conferences, Training, and Seminars.
We do not offer monthly payments. It is highly encouraged that the MLC Pro Sports Community Membership is planned for annually and is ideally submitted to your department head within the fourth quarter (NOV-DEC) when traditional budgets are being submitted. For best practice, this should be done at the same time you typically submit your annual departmental creative needs, such as annual renewal platforms like royalty free services, software renewals, awards fees, conference fees, and annual content tools that help you grow your business and push your team forward.
If you are an independent, this is something that definitely needs to be planned for when you set your annual budget costs.
CAN I INVITE AN INDUSTRY COLLEAGUE?
Sure! As long your colleague meets the Membership Qualification, send them an invitation within the mobile app:

Click on the INVITE button
Type in their email(s) and hit SEND!
WHAT HAPPENS IF I LEAVE MY TEAM OR ORGANIZATION?
Please carefully read the MEMBERSHIP QUALIFICATION policy below under, “IF YOU LEAVE YOUR CURRENT TEAM OR MOVE ON FROM THE PRO SPORTS CREATIVE INDUSTRY”.
WHY DID MY WEIRD POST GET DELETED?
Please carefully read the BUSINESS INTEGRITY & VIOLATION POLICY below. We most likely had to delete your post because it went against our policies and was not cultivating a safe, diverse, respectful, and equal opportunity learning environment for the rest of the members. We like to keep it all about positive, relevant networking and development. Although we love them, we don't want to know what your pet did today. 😁
CAN I GET A REFUND?
If before 30 days, a 50% refund can be issued. After 30 days, all sales are final and no refunds are allowed. Before you purchase a new membership, please read our policies below.

MLC CONNECT APP CREATIVE COMMUNITY POLICIES
MEMBERSHIP QUALIFICATION
BECOMING A MEMBER OF THE MLC CONNECT PRO SPORTS CREATIVE COMMUNITY
You must be a full-time creative for a pro sports team, college or sports-based organization to qualify. If you do not work full-time as a creative for a pro sports team, college or sports-based organization, you do not qualify for the Community Membership. Although we respect everyone's professional career, MLC CONNECT™ is an exclusive creative sports community. Thank you for your understanding.
IF YOU LEAVE YOUR CURRENT TEAM OR MOVE ON FROM THE SPORTS CREATIVE INDUSTRY
No worries. Your annual MLC Pro Sports Creative Community Membership remains active for its entirety or 12 months from the time you paid your original membership. Your status does not change until your membership expires, which at that point you will have to go through the Membership Verification & Renewal Policy [see below]. Please note that all members will go through this annually upon renewal, regardless of your employment status. If you left the pro sports community and you no longer work as a full-time creative for a pro sports team, college or sports-based organization, you do not qualify for a Community Membership renewal. Although we respect everyone's professional career, MLC CONNECT™ is an exclusive creative sports community. Thank you for your understanding.
MEMBERSHIP VERIFICATION & RENEWAL POLICY
Once you renew your annual membership or register for the first time, simply pay the registration cost and respond to a brief Industry Verification Email. If you do not respond to this email by the indicated timeframe provided, your account will be deleted and you will receive a 50% refund. After 30 days, no refunds are allowed. We take membership verification very seriously and so should you. This policy allows us to keep the community filled with vetted best-in-class sports industry creative professionals that are moving the industry forward and will help drive your professional development to the next level.
BUSINESS INTEGRITY POLICY
MLC Pro Sports Creative Community Members should use their best judgment in posting material that is neither inappropriate nor harmful to MLC Connect App, MLC Pro Sports Creative Community and its members. This includes posting commentary content or images that are defamatory, pornographic, proprietary, harassing, libelous, illegal, grossly negligent, include substance abuse, or that can create a hostile virtual environment. In general, respect the law (including copyright law) and avoid saying negative things about others or companies.
Keep all your posts business related, generally related to sports creative, or hospitable in nature. Remember, the MLC Connect App is a privately owned and operated entity and we reserve the right to delete any posts or comments we feel is not aligned with our core values: Gather, Learn, Return, Apply & Share. The MLC Connect App is about positivity, relevant networking and development.
General Rule: When in doubt, do not post it. Rather opt to post your personal opinions on politics, religion and any imagery that can be viewed as distasteful on your personal public social media accounts.
VIOLATION POLICY
MLC Creative Community members will receive three warnings in any warranted event. Upon the notification of the third warning, the violator’s account will be deleted. No refund will be issued. We take the violation policy very seriously.
UPDATES, RIGHTS & TRANSPARENCY
The Business Integrity, Violation Policy, and all MLC Connect Creative Community policies, are subject to change without notification, anytime by MLC Connect™. MLC Connect™ reserves the right to void any membership for any reason, without notification. We want to make sure our members receive connection and value through this experience. Also, we want to be very transparent that we will be making changes to our policies when necessary that better serve the community as a whole. We want to make it crystal clear that when you join the MLC Pro Sports Creative Community, you understand our desire to truly provide a safe, diverse, respectful, and equal opportunity learning environment to members.
